BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
We are a small, tight-knit team. This means that bookings are essential and cancellations affect us significantly.
PHOTOSHOOTS:
For all portrait sessions; a non-refundable session cost is required to book and hold the date for your session. This retainer also serves as a cancellation fee.
For ‘$300 Red Experience’ voucher holders; due to the nature of your voucher, if stated $150 of your voucher covers you for your studio photoshoot. Additional appointments (such as, ‘Bump & Baby’ or reshoots) are given at the discretion of the photographer.
Unless stated otherwise photoshoots which take place during standard business hours will last for a one-hour period. As weekend appointments are in high-demand, we kindly ask to only book for a weekend if you are 100% able to attend.
Those attending the photoshoot on weekdays are to be at the studio at least 5 minutes prior to the appointment. On weekends those attending the photoshoot are required to be at the studio at least 10 minutes prior to the appointment. Any appointment which is more than 15 minutes late will need to be rescheduled unless agreed upon otherwise. If given 48 hours notice, or if there is a significant reason as to why you are unable to attend the photoshoot appointment, Red Photography is able to offer one more additional appointment complimentary. A $50 booking fee may apply to appointments which are ‘no showed’ or to appointments which are rebooked more than twice.
DESIGN CONSULTATIONS:
Due to the nature of our business, appointments are crucial to our staff and our customers. When an appointment is booked and confirmed, we set aside not only our photographers time, but also our resources into making sure that you have a fantastic design consultation. The preparation of your images before a design consultation can take our photographers anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to complete.
Because of the amount of work which is put into your appointment we require 48 hours notice of any cancellation or postponement. Those attending the design consultations on weekdays are to be at the studio at least 5 minutes prior to the appointment. On weekends those attending the design consultations are required to be at the studio at least 10 minutes prior to the appointment. Any appointment which is more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled unless agreed upon otherwise. This is to ensure that other clients appointments aren’t affected, and everyone receives the same level of service and attention.
We understand that rescheduling may happen due to illness or unexpected events. In this case Red Photography will be able to offer you one additional appointment complimentary. However, please be advised that failure to provide adequate notice of a cancellation or multiple rescheduling will result in a booking fee.
